the stranger game #2

as most of you know, i invented a game during work experience in which you talk to a stranger, and you BS your entire life: build up a rich background story for yourself. known as the stranger game.

victim #2: ranko
sex: girl
location: shogi chatroom

since people of many nationalities come to this shogi site, you may sometimes verse french dudes who chat in french and its super cool although you dont understand. this time i was versing a chick called ranko and i decided to pretend i was a jap dude:

me: yoroshiku
ranko: ? hello
me: ohayoo. watashi wa tanaka desu. pai ga daisuki desu.

that was enough to convince her i was jap xD and then i started talking in english, explaining how i was born in japan, but spoke fluent english coz my dad was british.

i started to panic when she private messaged me, asking me to teach her japanese. apparently she was american and her mum was jap but dad was white, so she wanted to learn a little jap. at this moment i was like shithsithsihtshsithhishtshit but i told her i had to go soon, but i would be glad to teach her later xD

and then we started talking. i attended a japanese high school, and i was captain of my local baseball team. ranko apparently was a tomboy, who was first-dan in taekwondo and quite pretty, according to her peers :D:D and then when i was about to go, she told me to add her as a friend so she could learn jap next time we met online... D: i guess its time to make another shogi account.

call me crazy, but the stranger game is really fun to play. you learn heaps of stuff. it teaches you how to:
1. lie through your teeth like a pro
2. make up BS on the spot
3. lie again to cover up another lie, etc

and the awesome part is, you never see that person again, (or you try not to) so your slate is basically cleared afterwards :D
