finally finished the NUZLOCKE challenge for pokemon emerald... luckily my blaziken was trained to the extremes and was well supported by wobbuffet, crobat and wailord. friendships were made, bonds were created. however, all this was not without some losses of our friends. a few words to properly farewell those who sacrificed themselves... for my sake, for the fellow pokemen's sake, for the party's sake.
osama, my swellow. you transported me to different cities in an instant, took care of the fighting gym singlehandedly, and was a lightning-fast god. why did i think that obama could flamethrower-KO that manectric? im sorry.
osama-2nd, my absol. you were what got me through the depression period of losing osama. remember what i risked to catch you? it took me 8 ultra balls to get you to join me. at 1200 money per ball, thats 9600 moneys i spent to get you join me. i promised to take you to the end... and i almost kept my promise. almost.
leechbaby, my cacturne. sorry to say this, but all the training i put into you, i planned to have you die. your leech seed and spikes greatly helped me defeat the final champion. remember how you avoided the first blizzard? that was legendary. i will not forget.
isitonyou, my hariyama. i never trained you. i never took care of you. i sent you out to die, plainly knowing that a level 57 gyarados was out of your capabilities. and yet you followed my orders. yet, you took that hyperbeam with your body, giving me a free turn while gyarados was recharging. why did you do it? why... i wasn't worthy of such respect, the way i treated you. i was not worthy, dammit.
finally, a tribute to the survivors of this brutal war that is the NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE. you soldiered on, even while your teammates died helplessly right next to your side. and now your names will forever be remembered in the pokemon HALL OF FAME.
obama, blaziken lvl 59
wall-e, wobbuffet lvl 52
foetu, crobat lvl 55
laboon, wailord lvl 52
everything happened for a reason. its over now.
